A little about me
Well, urgh it's like having to write a CV all over again lol
Hi everyone 👋 you can call me Ari (or Grandma) 😊
I've had a few decades around the sun, collected a fair bit of life experience along the way, and somehow found myself on Valir yapping more now than I actually read! 😂 I've been on here since May 2026.
My interests are a bit of a mixed bag. I love reading (fantasy, fiction, action, horror, romance even some bl if there's a decent storyline), watching anime, exploring different cultures, and learning languages. I'm also a story teller since ... uum I guess since I was able to write at age 4.
I also enjoy cooking, experimenting in the kitchen, and occasionally discovering that a recipe and I have very different ideas about how things should turn out! 🤣
I'm naturally curious and love learning about pretty much anything. Making, creating, drawing, painting and all those little things are right up my street.
And the fam lore - So what initially started as a joke (on my side) somehow ended in me acquiring a collection of wonderfully chaotic children & grandchildren: MotherAthy, YoyoIsAKstan, Adeline and Halo. Being their mother is an adventure in itself, and I'm fairly certain the grandchildren (basically everyone else) are also conspiring to shorten my remaining years! Especially with showing me clowns 😂 dw, I'm not really afraid.
I love a good laugh, meaningful conversations, a little friendly mischief, and meeting people from all walks of life. I believe there's always something new to discover, someone new to learn from, and occasionally someone who needs a virtual hug (or a gentle telling-off! well... ok, if you do manage somehow to get me mad, I don't bark, I'll bite).
Uuuum.... what else? Oh yes, I usually call everyone dearie, my sweet, or lovely, or other pet names &
if you don't like that, I won't know unless you tell me! (it's ok I won't feel offended).
