Baby talk in writing

Recently I started reading The Secretly Capable Child is Looking For Her Dad and I'll be honest the story is very interesting since the mc is genuinely a kid and didn't regress or reincarnate like other typical historical manhwa.

But what bothers me is the excessive use of baby talk/lisp in that manhwa. My eyes genuinely hurt reading them and my brain trying to understand what the kid is trying to say. This is just my opinion, but baby talk shouldn't be used in writing cause it pulls reader out of the story and instead of immersing ourselves into the plot, we're wrecking our brain to understand what's being said
