but whats your opinion on cortis?
i recently read a reddit thing saying that cortis has no musicality and their songs are js catchy.
I personally dont mind their band. some of their songs i listen to to get hyped up- but lwk i dont care for the band….
what do you think?
No, I don't listen to them but mainly because I have my hands full with SKZ. They always have something going on

I'm an OG K-pop fan.
Cortis is one of the groups I listen to and follow a little!
And I appreciate the direction of their music, their concept, and the messages they convey—especially for young people.
I don’t necessarily understand what the people you’ve read mean by “no musicality.”
Do they mean a lack of melody?
But to each their own!
Personally, I really appreciate their music for the rhythm and the vibe. I think they’re a group that makes this kind of rhythmic, energetic music without it being just noise to my ears; even if the song structures seem basic and repetitive, there’s still a unique focus on melody and atmosphere.
And I think there’s something special about their vocals, too—it’s not just their natural voices. They experiment with and adopt specific tones depending on the song. So, in the end, I think there’s a real sense of musicality there. That said, yes, melody isn’t necessarily the main focus of their music!I mostly listen to SKZ hehe
