Family names (it's funny tho)

So, my grandma (RIP queen) was the matriarch of the family.

Meaning she choosed all the names of the babies that were born after her becoming the matriarch.

My grandma was a simple woman, yk. So she named the first children born (hers) as the four main cardinal directions.

Yes. My father's name is “North” (that's why it's funny when I read dUkE oF tHe NoRtH lol). My aunt is called “East”, and my uncles “South” and “West”.

I'm not joking. It's crazy.

Anyways, my grandma's children had children of their own: uncle South (we hate that bitch) had two daughters and she called them “Apple” and “Olive”, uncle West had no biological children but he adopted a baby and grandma called him “Saedin” (pronounced like Satan wtf grandma), and aunt East had a daughter and a son whose names are “June” and “July” (they were born in December).

And probably (or not) you are wondering “but then, what crazy name did you get?”

Well, fam, it's literally “Bee”.

(And no, it's not a only-girl name, people had already joked about it (⁠ノ⁠ಥ⁠,⁠_⁠｣⁠ಥ⁠)⁠ノ⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻)

And my two little sisters are called “Marlin” and “Dove”.

HOWEVER!

A few years ago my grandma passed away, so now my father is the patriarch (as the DUkE oF tHe NoRtH).

The thing is that this morning my cousin Apple gave birth to her first children. Twins.

My dad, who is a huge geek and loves mythology... wanted to name them “Thor” and “Loki”. But my mom stopped him and asked what would happen if, down the line, it turned out they weren't boys (you know what I mean (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)).

So now I have two adorable nephews named “Robin” and “Roy”. If you're geeky enough to get the reference, congratulations.

PS: my grandma was called Penny, but not for Penelope or smth like that. It was literally about the penny. The coin.

PSS: if you didn't understand, the reference is that “Roy” is from “Roy Harper” a character from the DCU whose besto friendo is “Jason Todd”, who was previously a hero/vigilante called “Robin”.
