Lingo?

So I’ve picked up quite a bit of chinese references yk….. since I reed a lot of chinese novels wuxia and everything else…. I don’t think there’s any type of light novel plot (martial arts, wuxia, villain system, reincarnation, rebirth, quick transmigration, beast world) I’ve left unearthed

So lemme tell you about some of them

White lotus - someone who pretends to be oh so sweet and innocent…. holy mother but is actually sooo manipulative and vicious

Green tea - Similar to white lotus but this one specifically means two-faced (used more often when she’s playing with/seducing multiple men)

White Moonlight - Male lead’s first love who usually dies in the first few chapters

Cinnabar mole - A passionate love that the Ml once shared with Fl which he only became appreciative and aware of after she went away… so leaving a mark (mole)……… (this one is also used in some LNs as proof of virginity? I don’t really get this part but whatevs 🤷🏻‍♀️)

These are the ones I recall rn….. I use white lotus and green tea quite often…..

Usually the og fl who have PINK hair…. turn out TO BE THE VILLAIN so I call the Pink white lotus
