Offline reading

Has anyone read offline from this app/site? I had an appointment today at a place with notoriously horrible reception, so I downloaded plenty of eps of 2 series so that I could read while I was there. But I was unable to access the chapters or app without WIFI
I checked my download file on my phone and it wasn't there either so idk what I was supposed to do.
