True Crime Podcast Reccomendations
Morbid: My favorite podcast, good if you want in depth, empathetic, and fun deep dives into true crime, but also some spooky stuff, and even natural disasters, they cover everything from serial killers to ghost stories, axe murder to potential homicides, modern cases to historical stuff from the 1700’s, they have it all :D
Crime, Conspiracy, Cults, Murder: A great podcast for people looking for a well done overview of the case, and great research. It covers lots of stuff, not as much as morbid, but still the second largest variety out of my reccomendations
Crime Junkie: Real investigation and real reporting, covers cold cases and some other topics, usually does ones that are not well known, amazing podcast, does tend to lean to a conclusion on some cases but usually very neautral, reaches out to people connected to the case.
48 Hours: Very good, professional, well done, conducts interviews with people who are actually associated with the case, similar to a news outlet, shows both sides of the story, very good at staying neutral. Was and is a TV show, was a TV show before it was a podcast
True Crime Garage: A good narrative, covers cases of all kinds, stays more on topic than a lot of other true crime podcasts featuring “unprofessional” people (meaning people whose career is not a police officer or lawyer or stuff like that)
Rotton Mango: Pretty good, tends to cover some of the more dark cases, also covers a lot of foriegn cases, meaning ones from Asia, intresting, cinematic, well done. Is a bit darker though.
Murder With My Husband: Really nice, short, overviews that are well done, informative, and interesting, one person is going in blind while the other is the one who researched the case. Despite being a podcast it’s on netflix.
True Crime All The Time: Nothing special. It’s pretty good, and informative.
DATELINE NBC: One of the most well known podcasts, it is a news show covering multiple cases usually, most of the time covering current true crime news rather than another case.
The Deck: By the same person from crime junkie, covers cold cases from the US that remain unsolved
There are some others I listen to less but still like so I’ll put them here: SERIAL, Park Predators, SNAPPED: Woman Who Murder.
